Mercs for Hire: Chapter 2 A hot, shining sun hung over Central City. The cheery April day was warm and dry. Yuki stirred in her bed; only half conscious. Her alarm began ringing. It was a barrage of cacophonic noise to her ears, but despite the noise Yuki merely grumbled and rolled in her bed some more. Only after the ringing grew louder did she finally shut it off. Mercs for Hire: Chapter 1Chapter 1 Central City is an enormous and bustling city. The shape of the city itself is a giant spiraling circle. Buildings are built next to each other in circular pattern. Each successive layer contains more buildings and structures than the last. In the very center of the city is Roland Academy, the jewel and pride of Central City. The city enjoys a very stable economy, and many of its residents live luxurious lifestyles, all thanks to Roland Academy. The academy is the most prestigious, school in the world.
